If they had to leave home for work, then they would have a problem as to who would take care of the children with both parents away from the home. It is also a response to the Philippine government's "zero waste" management program - meaning to recycle. These bags are made from recycled newspaper and treated with an acrylic emulsion to make them sturdy and long lasting. An acrylic emulsion is a water based solution which is applied to the bags to protect it from moisture. After a bag is finished and ready for shipment we make the solution of half acrylic emulsion and half water which is applied to the bag - inside and out. Then it is dried and ready for shipment.
